we're doing pretty good. still not spending much at all. Socking away a lot of money which is great since at the beginning of the year dh had just started a new job and we were expecting to be playing catch up on underemployment for the whole year.

We're refinancing the house. Locked in 2.875%, which will lower our mortgage almost $300/month!! Originally, I intended to just keep paying the same amount in order to pay down the mortgage faster but with the rate that low investing it is a no brainer.

Dh got a temporary promotion tonight, not sure if it comes with a pay raise, we'll see.

Vacuum died this morning.   We had a new one we picked up on clearance a few months ago, so no extra money spent on another one.  🙂

The 1 ish year old dishwasher is leaking.   Bought a new seal for it.  Our old dishwasher was a cheaper model and it didn't have problems.   But the people who installed it didn't do it well.

Bought some of the kids new mountain bikes.  Spendy, but a good bike makes the 2 or 3 hour rides they go on better.  Plus some of them needed bigger sized ones.  I will list some bikes on craigslist tonight.

Was so close to booking a little vacation,  but I just couldn't do it.  Still a bit to freaked out by covid to do it.

I've been using camelcamelcamel to scoop some things off of amazon. Prices are volatile right now, and I'm using that to my advantage.  Latest scoop was boardgames for Christmas (saved about $60 over 3 games), but also saved $30 on a 12pk of my favorite organic cotton tampons.
