Does anyone here have recent research about how many of the children under 3 who have died from Covid had congenital heart disease?  The most recent abstract I saw was from June 15th but I couldn't access the article.

We have some responsible family members who would like to come visit.  Them I trust.  The problem is if they visit, other less responsible family members will get very hurt and demand to visit too.   I'd like to know exactly how dangerous it might be for say, a toddler with several severe heart murmurs but who is beyond the "report any decrease in food in case of sudden heart failure" stage and is now in the 6 month screening stage.

Our pediatrician is on vacation or I'd call her, and while I could ask one of the other doctors covering for her, I don't trust anyone else.

I can't answer directly on your point, but if you haven't read these yet, you can paint some edges around the picture.

This, the common advice, fwiw: https://umich.app.box.com/s/mmdorzk9vn4p1d3tsd0i8jdrc43xi5gp in terms of general guidelines for people with cardiomyopathies. Essentially, limit to your immediate family group.

cardiovascular burden explained with covid infection : https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7102656/

survey based on defect type, but child group is only size of 4: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7355526/

larger pediatric survey in Europe, not limited to those with heart defects: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7355526/

You don't need to back up your opinion of "I don't want you to visit" with medical science. You can just say "No" to those family members who want to use their feelings to get their way.
