Am I the only one who has children NOT in the learning to read stage (15 and 16) whose refrigerator is still covered in Leap Frog Letter Factory letters?  They're such strong magnets; I have just kept using them.

They're GREAT magnets!  We have the little box that when you put the letter into it sings the song for that letter's sound, but mostly we keep it because they're the best magnets we've ever found.  They're sturdy and they hold stuff on the fridge without falling off.  It's a high quality product!

I have those magnetic cogs in mine.  I can’t even claim the magnets are good because they’re kind of useless.  I have no idea why I still have them.

I wish i had them. Want to get rid of them to a very deserving 3 yr old?

No, they're holding up way too much stuff.  I highly recommend them as a gift, though!

DD is 20.  I still have one or two for the same reason.  We had more but we moved a couple of years ago, got a nice new fridge and now only keep magnets on one side and no longer have as much stuff that needs to be hung.   But while dd was still in school etc, Leap Frog magnets were my magnet of choice.

Ironically, I'm IN that stage with three kiddos and I refuse to have the darn things anymore.  They just end up on the floor.  I *do* use MagnaTiles on my fridge though, LOL.

We don’t have good letter magnets, but we do have random letter magnets! Not enough to spell real words, and I have no explanation for that.
We also still have a magnetic white board full of AAS tiles. My youngest is 9.5 and has been reading fluently for years.

My daughter uses Magnatiles on her magnet board for the same reason.

Our AAS tiles are still up, too.  I just feel like they say “homeschool” more than anything else in the room.  But they serve no purpose at this point.  I should probably take them down. 😭
