Even when I buy a cabinet, matching the doors to mine is going to be difficult. This fella had EXACTLY what I needed for $5! Score! I've been looking for over a year. Selkie Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 Good morning! Kelly, I love ditch lilies! The road I grew up on was lined with them, and we have a patch of them at our house now. We called them tigerlilies when I was a kid. It is going to be hot here today, too. Took a shower, went outside to doctor Smokey's eye, and immediately got covered in sweat again - ugh! office work - bills and end of July things vacuum! desperately needed take care of Smokey's eye - he rubbed it during the night and messed up some of the stitches, so I was on the phone with the vet first thing this morning *sigh* make salad dressing other kitchen things - cutting up produce, mostly empty garbage cans laundry - several loads, lots of towels dinner: the kung pao noodles I didn't make last night (we ended up grilling instead) - & cashew cream cheese wontons, too 3 Quote

Jean in Newcastle Posted July 24, 2020 Author Posted July 24, 2020 My sleep woes continue. I took pain meds before last night in a desperate attempt to keep from waking up at 2:30 in pain (as has been my habit for the last week or more). The pain meds helped me to sleep until 3 pm. Sigh. Then I was awake for two and a half hours before I could get back to sleep! logged fasting bloodsugars got Neko out of his bathroom and discovered that he had thrown up all over the bathroom floor that I had just mopped yesterday. Double sigh. fed Neko and Juliet. Locked Neko in the bathroom for awhile to make sure that his tummy was behaving. fed myself got on the phone with the CPap people to describe the hose/mask coupler that I am missing. I am supposed to pick up a new hose this morning. They don't just sell the coupler but I can't find the one I put aside anywhere and I have looked and looked and looked. (I think that the bunnies sold it on Ebay) medicated myself medicated Juliet I am going to skip my PT exercises this morning and go right to a shower, dressing, brushing teeth, get out the door to get the CPap part. 2 Quote

Selkie Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 Done with horse chores. I hurried because it is so dang hot. Now I need to swat some flies before I do anything else. 2 Quote
Jean in Newcastle Posted July 24, 2020 Author Posted July 24, 2020 I just went to the CPap supply place because I couldn't get my new mask to fit my old hose. Turns out that there was a part that I had to take off to make it work with this one. What's crazy is that it used to require a part to be added - a part which I have now lost. Whatever. I am just glad that I can now use my old style mask again. In the interim I had used a different design that they gave me to try and it was a bad fit for me. 2 Quote
Jean in Newcastle Posted July 24, 2020 Author Posted July 24, 2020 I finally figured out how to fold out the futon sofa thing that I haven't used in probably ten years. I stripped the futon sofa thing of it's cover and have it and some other things in the washing machine. 2 Quote

Jean in Newcastle Posted July 25, 2020 Author Posted July 25, 2020 (edited) Put wet clothes in the dryer Tacked up blanket as a "curtain" in the room where ds will be staying. did sleep diary (day 4) some camp back and forth with board members. Trying to explain to some why I don't agree with them on an issue. Nothing hugely important but trying to communicate clearly because it's not totally non-important either.
