If you have had covid has your thoughts or feelings changed about it?

Are you more careful now because of your experience with covid?

Or are you more open to going and doing things because you have already had it?

I had "something" for six weeks in Feb. and March.  Was not tested.  Got a negative antigen test but afterwards found out that I was past the window for when antigens might disappear (though that is very unclear).  Have "something" again.

Have not changed my mind on the science though of course our scientific knowledge is growing with more data and studies.  Just as careful.  As my doctor has stressed very strongly, the strong possibility that I had it, does not mean that I am immune.

PS - I am immunocompromised. I get all sorts of “somethings” so its not necessarily COVID19.

Like Jean, I had "something" in March. was not tested and have not been taken the antigen test either. I am also immune compromised.

My view is pretty much the same, probably more so on wear the mask camp. I'm used to limiting my time out when it's cold and flu season, so my personal habits haven't changed much for this. I stay home most of the time now. Our community is under a mandatory mask rule.

While sick, I spent 3 weeks on the couch, sleeping very little, sleeping upright to breathe, having someone do most things for me. I had the flu in 2019, this was not the flu, it was worse. I was trying to finish my school semester, TA, and finish a thesis. The thesis just got submitted at the end of June. My case was mild enough to not need hospitalization. I have respiratory problems from radiation tx years ago and had built up my stamina over the last few years. Now, I have problems walking more than 2/3 of a mile before I get too winded to stop.
