How sweet.  What kind?

Cross between Bichon Frise and Shih Tzu.

Oh how cute!  He reminds me of a teddy bear, so I’d go with Teddy.

how big will he get?

They call his cross a Teddy Bear, LOL. I think he’ll be between 10-16lbs. Our 9 year old mix of these two breeds is 19lbs, so it’s highly variable!

GOOD CHOICE.

How about Teal'c, then?

I know, right? But we named the robot vacuum that a couple years ago. 🙃
Can’t use Daniel either, our good friends just had a baby named Daniel. And we have a lot of humans named with the “J” sound, and I’m forever calling the wrong one, so I said no “J” names.

Scruffles.

Then you'd have Sammie and Scruffles -- 2 "S" names sound good together. 😉

(and I love "Mr Brumble" from above)

I like Teddy, or on that same theme, Paddington.

Other famous bears:  Winnie, Smokey

Our Paddington was a large Paddingtonish -Golden-yellow colored retriever!

I like all of Teddy, Frodo, Roscoe, and Bosco (was a hot cocoa type drink that mixed with milk, had colors like the puppy) best so far.

Charlie  (for Brown). I like Brownie too.  He seems like an ee sound ending type dog

if everyone were using Roscoe, I’d probably end up using Rosky or Rocky (though in our family Rocky is an existing dog who doesn’t look at all like puppy.)
