MamaSprout
Dd is taking a DE General Chemistry class using the Zumdahl Atoms first book this fall. She previously did World of Chem. She says she doesn't feel confident on nomenclature and has asked if I could find her worksheets with answers so she can just work through a bunch before the semester starts. I might have something leftover from World of Chem, but I thought I'd see if there was something else out there beside Khan Academy. TIA! Dicentra
I have worksheets I can send to you, if you wish. 🙂 There's also this website which lets students practice naming, writing formulae, and even calculating molar mass: https://www.kentschools.net/ccarman/cp-chemistry/practice-quizzes/compound-naming/ For naming, you can choose how many practice questions you'd like and whether you'd like to name molecular compounds, ionic compounds, or acids (or any combination of those). Have fun naming! 🙂
