medawyn Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 ... found a great deal on paper and bought “tons; it’ll last us forever!” Three reams 😂 He clearly doesn’t run the home office/school supply closet. 4 36 Quote
Junie Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 So funny! Send him back for three cases while the paper is still on sale. 8 Quote

Tenaj Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 That is funny! I used to run a tax preparation business but now only have about 10 returns that I do. I realized today that I ran through an entire ream just this week getting these few tax returns done, copies made and files put together. I can't imagine how much I used to go through and I still buy paper by the case just because of homeschooling. Quote
BakersDozen Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 I'm waiting for my dh to find out I ordered 30 (more) reams today because he would definitely think 3 reams is sufficient even after all these years and copies. Good thing he leaves the shopping/ordering up to me! 3 reams...that is funny. 2 Quote
Spy Car Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 Man...I thought I was heroic when I ordered 2 reams during a recent super sale. At three reams, I'd have felt like a spendthrift Bill (not my department) 2 3 Quote

I'm just sometimes surprised that I'm the only one who uses very little. One of my kids has a math workbook, and we read some paper books, but other than that, I think we started the lockdown with 1/2 a ream, and have a fair amount left. Clearly, I'm the outlier here. Yeah, no. 🤣 It seems my kids go through half a ream a week just drawing superheroes and dragons...well, and the 4 year old needs to paint endless grey/brown blobby "rainbows". All told, we go through just under a ream a week. 3 Quote

Each kid uses a few notebooks and such but we do almost zero printing so 3 reams would last us a year or so. And the only reason we would run out is if the kids started using it for drawing and art projects instead of scrap paper Quote

I print their math workbooks myself, plus phonics pages for DS, plus handwriting pages for him, plus our unit study pages. But most of it goes to drawing. No matter how many other types of paper I buy, they prefer to draw and color on printer paper. And use a LOT of it. 3 hours ago, wendyroo said: Yeah, no. 🤣 It seems my kids go through half a ream a week just drawing superheroes and dragons...well, and the 4 year old needs to paint endless grey/brown blobby "rainbows".
