Mabelen
The city next to us is doing fireworks from a new site this year. We are less than three miles away. There are hills 750 feet high between us close to the firing site. Also, there are hills 650 feet high in between next to us. Do we stand a chance? What about if we go up to a spot in the close by hills 600 feet high? Today at 2:23 pm 0 replies
Pen
Fireworks probably would not exceed 300 feet up from where set, and likely would be lower too—but are hills 750 feet above the city? Or 750 feet above sea level and city itself is also well above sea level?
Liz CA
Don't know what max height is for fireworks but there is evidently some kind of way to control this as the city next to where we live said the fireworks would be "higher" this year so all county residents could see them since they don't want anyone to congregate at the park where they are set off.

The firing site is at 715 feet above sea level.
prairiewindmomma
There’s a slight chance. A 3”/75mm shell bursts at about 300ft/100mof height. The very largest shells will burst at about 3x that. So, it depends on the size of the mortar shells purchased and professional quality of the show.

Of the 600 feet high spot is not tree enclosed pria better chance yet
