katilac Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 Will cold chocolate pudding sit nicely on top of a cooled chocolate cake, or no? I keep trying to search in various ways, and all I'm coming up with is poke cake, where you poke holes in the cake and then pour the pudding on top. I really want it just to be on top! Does that work? The pudding is already cold and set, the cake is cooled, and then can go in fridge when assembled. Quote
prairiewindmomma Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 Yes, provided the pudding is of sufficient quantity and the edges of the pan are high enough. 1 Quote
katilac Posted June 28, 2020 Author Posted June 28, 2020 Thanks, I did it and it was delicious! The pudding was already made, so I couldn't reduce the milk, but it still looked good in the pan and the pudding just slopped over a bit when your piece was cut. I may never use frosting again. 5 Quote
