ScoutTN
Still much the same. His wife is able to visit, but not be in his room. (Despite the fact that she's had it and recovered and so have the other people in their household.) Please continue to pray for respiratory and kidney function, for strength, for refreshing rest. This family does not have medical insurance. The bill for 30+ days and counting in ICU will be astronomical.

ScoutTN
He has been sick for 7 weeks. ICU delirium/anxiety, kidney function so low that he needs dialysis, heparin causing problems, an itchy rash. On top of all the breathing issues. His family are in deep distress, esp his wife. Please pray for healing, for rest, for provision. These people need God's mercy right now in very real ways.

So his wife has been able to be with him! He really seems to have turned the corner and be truly recovering. Could be a while though. Kidney function is still a problem and dialysis continues. Please pray for that. Also for continued restful sleep to aid in all aspects of recovery. Thank you for praying!! 34

Pen
Prayers. are CV19 people recovering kidney function after loss ? And if so is it just time needed or are there things that can be done?

And if so is it just time needed or are there things that can be done? It depends how bad it is. Most of the time kidneys don't repair themselves. Not like the liver which can regnerate. So it just depends how much actual damage there is versus inflammation, lack of circulation, etc. Edited July 25, 2020 by Ktgrok 1

ScoutTN
He still has ups and downs, but is trending up overall. Kidney function, bp, O2, heart rate, all improving. Please continue to pray for all these things, plus physical strength/PT, deep and restful sleep, and emotional strength and peace. 7
