He is better. No longer sedated and now off the vent, but still in ICU. Pray for reduced need for oxygen, much better kidney function, restful sleep.

Thank you for praying!! Please continue!

He's taken a bad turn and is back on the vent. Super weak, low bp, in shock. Please pray.

Oh no.  That’s bad news. Praying.

F. is on a the ICU roller coaster. Better today, off the vent some in the daytime. He sat in a chair and did some gentle PT. Gave the therapist a hug! Back on the vent at night at about 40%. Please pray for strength, for kindey function to improve so he can get off dialysis.  His wife and kids only get to talk to him every couple days, though the hospital checks in with his wife daily. They have been sick with CV too, but not severe.

He is ok today, but anxious. Pray for him to be peaceful and be able to rest well. Also for kidney function to improve significantly. His wife is weary and the separation is so hard.

He's on increased ventilator support. Having trouble clearing CO2. Also dialysis and transfusion today.

In better news, his wife can now visit his floor/unit, but not in his room. She can be in the hospital two hours a day, see him through the window and talk in person with his medical team.

Thank you for the update.  I'm glad his wife can be closer to him and interact with the medical team.  What an awful situation for her.

Wow, so sorry to hear about the increased need for the ventilator.  Praying for his wife and grateful she can be at the hospital, even for a short time.
