ktgrok Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 (edited) I just learned this! Planned Parenthood is the only one that also does UTI meds, but there are a bunch that do emergency contraception, the pill, ring, patch, and even internal condoms. You fill out info, they have someone review the info, and then mail you your birth control or some have you pick it up at a local pharmacy. Some have a nominal "visit" fee for a new prescription ($20 or less) others are free, and you can message the doctor with questions throughout the year. I've been having more and more pain and moodiness with ovulation, and after some research also realized that my "I'm not having perimenopause symptoms" stance was based on a misunderstanding of what those symptoms are. So going to try going back on the ring, which I used happily in the past and see if that helps. https://www.bedsider.org/features/851-how-to-get-birth-control-delivered-right-to-your-door Edited June 20, 2020 by Ktgrok 4 Quote
EKS Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 The clinic that I go to has been doing the UTI meds without a visit thing for years. Quote

ktgrok Posted June 20, 2020 Author Posted June 20, 2020 They also have STI testing for at home, and it looks like in the not to distant future at home cervical screening tests will be on the market - Glasgow is working on one based on urine of all things! 2 Quote
