Tipping for food delivery?

I did not think this would ever happen for our rural area, but Whole Foods extended its delivery area to include us!!!

How do you handle tips for shopper and delivery driver? 

I had done the online tip as part of bill on my cc But did that include driver and shopper both?  If only shopper is there a way after fact to tip driver?  

I’d like to be sure driver was tipped and increase for both as they did a good job.

The companies don't allow tipping here.

There is a spot for a tip when you place your order online. IIRC it’s auto filled but you can change the amount. I’m not sure how it’s divvied up, though. Can you contact their customer service to find out? 

You could leave an envelope taped to your door with a cash tip. I always tape signs thanking the delivery drivers. 🙂 

I recently discovered that Whole Foods delivers to my small town too (Thanks, Amazon!). It was a lifesaver for the two weeks we were quarantined. We'll continue using it for sure; often we can get our groceries within a couple hours. It’s way easier than trying to snag a spot for curb side at my local grocery down the street.

I met our driver in person with a wheelbarrow at end of our driveway—both of us masked—so I thanked him in person. But I like the note idea too.

We add to it.

We have a front porch so the driver just drops the bags off.
