Garga Posted June 15, 2020 Posted June 15, 2020 Can anyone recommend a good to-do list app and a calendar app (ok if they’re the same)? My 17 yo college-bound son needs one. He has ADHD, so one that’s good for ADHD people would be even better. I’ve heard that some are better than other for ADHD. Quote
Momto6inIN Posted June 15, 2020 Posted June 15, 2020 I'm not ADHD, but Google Calendar is my brain. If it ever goes kaput, I'm toast. 2 Quote
Arcadia Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 I use my iPhone calendar. However I have to make sure I set my Canvas student account to populate/sync with my iPhone calendar. I could see all my homework that way on my iPhone. My iPhone calendar is my yahoo calendar so it’s backup to Yahoo and iCloud. 1 Quote
PeterPan Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 Marydee Sklar recommends a *paper* planner for kids in college. It sounds really counter-intuitive, but there you go. And I can tell you that, for all the access to swanky tech and $$ apps, I was just as likely to find out my dd had NOT ENTERED THE ASSIGNMENTS in her tech. Now she usually does, but I'm saying it can happen. So if you google old threads, this company I'm linking https://executivefunctioningsuccess.com is the company Heathermomster here used and her ds has been rocking it out with a paper planner, last I knew. It's at least worth considering. The lady also has a course, which Heathermomster had her ds do. That's also worth considering. 1 Quote
