Selkie Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 Good morning! It's going to be another perfect day - sunny and 72. My morning got off to a good start. A deer brought her fawn up by the house, and the fawn was gamboling around, jumping and prancing - just so precious.❤️❤️ Now I'm watching the hummingbirds and their never-ending battle over the feeder, which is also quite entertaining. pay insurance bill plan my week menu plan go through subscribe & save list tidy up garage work with horses brush dogs work on my closet! I keep putting this off... dinner: breakfast for dinner (southwest tofu scramble & roasted potatoes) 4 Quote
SKL Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 Mostly I need to finish what I didn't finish yesterday. I have a lot of client work I need to send out. I plan to take a long walk in the national forest ... my older housemates say they want to come with me, which I'd prefer they didn't do, but it's one of those things you don't say out loud. 😛 My kids need to practice their instruments, TKD forms, & therapy and clean their rooms. My sister wants to come over and get me to notarize something today. She wants to know what time is good. Texted me at the crack of dawn. We are so different. I have not responded. 😛 5 Quote

Jean in Newcastle Posted June 14, 2020 Author Posted June 14, 2020 Online church done. Waiting for dh and dd to both get here. Hybrid church was interesting. We had some interesting echos that had to be worked out. Which of course is why we're taking it slow and getting all these bugs worked out before we go full bore. 2 Quote
Ausmumof3 Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 Monday morning here. For some reason I woke up when dh went to work a bit before five and couldn’t fall back asleep. It’s foggy and damp and I really just don’t feel like it today. need to get math and writing done with the kids minimum and ds has a podiatrist visit. Hot water is playing up so showering is an adventure. And the dishwasher and washing machine aren’t working due to water pressure issues as well... may be a good day to vacuum after we do the out the house stuff. 3 Quote
ScoutTN Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 Of course, after I made soup, the sun came out and it warmed up. Chatted with dd as she packed for camp. Ordered some things for mom on Amazon I'm tired. Last night's poor sleep is showing up. 3 Quote
Jean in Newcastle Posted June 15, 2020 Author Posted June 15, 2020 Dd came over for a combined early Father's Day / Dh's birthday lunch. She brought takeout from our favorite gluten free restaurant. We had a nice chat. She got to love on all our animals. She helped dh move a piece of furniture. Dh and I drove up north a bit to a big garden center. We didn't realize that you were supposed to make reservations online to be able to enter but when I asked the lady at the door about how to do it she said that we could go in. Which was nice since it was a good 45 minute drive to get there. We actually didn't find what we needed there but went to a nearby home/garden place that didn't need reservations and they had all we needed on sale! So we got stocked up. Dh put his birthday gift together so now I have a huge drill press in my living room. . . Washed, dried and put away dishes, knives and pans. Wiped down counters, stove and microwave. Put out yard waste and garbage bins to the curb. 1 Quote
