Mine is fairly old. It is a 5200. It is a good machine, but if I were buying now, I would go for the lower profiles ones that fit under the cabinets.

I own the Creations which is the QVC version of the 5200.  I just bought my dd and her new husband the 7500 (also from QVC because it came with the Aer) because it has the low profile container as the poster above mentioned.

I don’t see a need for the more expensive versions with the preprogrammed options.

I have a 5200 that I love.  I do not see the need for any of the automatic/preset settings.  For something that I am making in a minute or two I can stand there and turn it off or increase/decrease speed.  The disadvantage is that it has a taller container and doesn't fit under my counters, but the taller, narrower container is supposed to be better from a functional standpoint than the shorter, wider containers.
