I’ve never done hanging baskets along the front of my house. I don’t really have a porch, just a stoop, but I do have an overhang across the front of my house. My house is weirdly modern. I think it looks like a giant picked it up, turned it sideways, and all of the windows stacked to one side. The downstairs windows are 4’ x 6’. Yes, both skylights are on one side of the door.

I planted up 5 baskets but I’m not sure if I should use them all or how to place them. There’s no overhang over the flower bed, but there is in the carport.

I did a sketch. Where should I mount my plant hooks and how many?  I’m not great at knowing how something will really look until it’s done and I only want to install these hooks once so there are no exposed holes. Please me what to do. Also, if you have hardware recommendations I’m listening. I’m thinking these: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Blue-Hawk-2-57-in-Gray-Steel-Utility-Hanger/1000342401

Depends on how long your overhang is. If you can do one on either side of the door opening area, and fit the others in along the over hang, I'd do that. Otherwise, I'd do three.

One thing to keep in mind is that things look more appealing in odd numbered groupings. So I'd do 3 or 5 baskets, but not 4.
