I am in the process of replacing some things in my kitchen. Got rid of all the old Tupperware and replaced the canisters with stainless steel ones. I use lemons and limes more in my cooking than I did in the past. I can't decide between a citrus reamer or just a squeezer. What do you use and like?

We have a little glass reamer that I think belonged to my mother. Neither my husband not I remember acquiring it.  It works great for our purposes: my husband's daily orange, my daily lemon, plus limes for margaritas now and then, and any of the above for baking!  We also have a big aluminum squeezer that is hard to clean so it's never used.

I have a plastic reamer but I almost never use it now. I cut a lemon or lime in half and just ream it with a teaspoon over a bowl. There is a very old glass reamer like @marbel describes above at our family beach home. I woul d probably use that if I owned it. (The difference is the plastic one is flimsy and hard to use. But the glass one is heavy and substantial and probably works well.)

I love my bright yellow squeezer, the one that clamps down on a half of a lemon or lime and turns it inside out and send out the juice while retaining the seeds.  Much better than a reamer, and actually even better than my old electric citrus juicer.  Less mess, more juice, no need for power, easy clean up in the dishwasher.

Retaining the seeds - that is a definite advantage over the reamer.

I have both but really like my small plastic citrus reamer. A lot of cooking I do calls for 1/2 of a lemon to be juiced. The citrus reamer is quick and easy. It holds the juice in a plastic cup attached. Sadly, I can remember where I got it but it works like a charm.

I have one like this. As simply to use as a reamer, but it not only catches the seeds it shows exactly how much juice you have, for recipes that call for specific amounts (not just "half a lemon" or whatever).

I have this kind plus one that looks like a measuring cup on the bottom with top being the reamer and seeds do generally not fall through which I appreciate. I juice a lot of lemons because we have trees. I use the "squeezer type" for a one or two lemons and the Godinger for a basket of lemons when I make juice.
