need help finding minecraft server post or boardie

This is a long shot, but I remember someone on this forum writing about how her son ran a minecraft server with a second person for his last two years of high school (if I remember correctly). She said he had earned a lot of money, but that most of the money had gone to paying a person to use their server to advertise it.

Do  you remember this post or boardie?
