I hate that these evil people use homeschooling to hide their abuse and neglect. Some of us are working really hard to give our children a good (and safe) education and these stories put every homeschooler in a defensive position.

Why is public school or private school or charter school not blamed for parents' neglecting their children's well being? This is so misleading. The blame is squarely on the parents, not how they school. Period!

We’re these their biological children? The woman is 60, and says the kids are 11-15? If not, how did they become the guardians?
