Chris in VA Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 Granddaughter going to K in the fall. We sent her a few months of Kiwi Crate activities last year. Would like to send her something fun this summer. Any ideas? We have to do everything long distance.😞 Quote
TheReader Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 I haven't tried either of these, but Crayola and Highlights both are offering new options including ones for that age group; they look pretty good.  Quote
Clemsondana Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 One of my kids has loved the older kid versions of kiwi crate. My book-lover has enjoyed Reading Bug Box.  Quote
itsheresomewhere Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 On the my subscription addiction page, they have a good amount with reviews. Go check out over there and see what you might think she would like.  The newish one for geography seems to get really good reviews. Quote
theelfqueen Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 I love kiwi as a company ... have you looked at the Kiwi's Atlas https://www.kiwico.com/atlas Or MEL Kids ? Or Bits Box? Man I wish all this stuff existed when my kids were younger! Quote
Jentrovert Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 Ivy Kids boxes are awesome, and just right for K. They include absolutely everything needed; I loved that I never had to hunt for stuff. Also, they include a number of activities and games plus a book. Some games can be reused. Ivy Kids is more expensive than some others, but we found them to be worth it. Quote
medawyn Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 I second Ivy Kits. Â A three month subscription or just handpick a few favorite titles from their previous boxes. Â My kids have loved Ivy Kits. Quote
