Carrie12345 Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 A piece came off my front loader’s door the other day. The door had been getting wonky over time, occasionally telling me that it wasn’t securely closed when I’d try to start a load, so I figured this piece was the culprit. Not exactly. Dh looked it up to replace it. This piece, on the inside of the door, at the bottom where it meets the machine, WAS DESIGNED TO KEEP THE DOOR PROPPED OPEN FOR AIR CIRCULATION! I’ve been leaving the door open and just living life with having it swing out when I open the laundry closet door, trying to be extra careful when closing the closet door, and sometimes getting smacked with the free swinging door when trying to get things out of the closet. It had a special magnetized piece to keep it stationary this whole time!!! Well, up until a few days ago. 2 2 Quote
Pen Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 I know mine has magnet, but have never figured out using it and so leave the dryer door wide open too 1 Quote
