cintinative
I have a paperback by Dover Thrift but I think I need an annotated edition. Can someone recommend one? I may have ordered the wrong one. Ideally I would like it to have annotations at the bottom of each page but if they are in the back that is good too. Thanks in advance.

serendipitous journey
I also found this annotated version, which is translated by Roger Clarke. Not much in the way of reviews, and no "Look Inside", but the Kindle sample was accessible and the prose clear & strong.
cintinative
The Norton Critical Edition is nice. I didn't realize how much the formatting of my other version was bothering me. There were whole pages with not a single paragraph break/indent. In a way I can't describe, it made it harder to read. The notations really helped me also. There is a lot of extra material in the Norton Critical which I didn't read--essays from various scholars about the work, etc.
