Question re: co19 and carpet installation

We are on a downslope here in NC or my county - need to get latest update.

DH and I have scheduled carpet installation.  It was supposed to have been done and co19 hit.

Now it's scheduled for May 23.

Should I "open" windows and run whole house fan OR no, just open windows?

DH says that using the fan will just circulate spores more.

And, our new bed is being delivered on May 30 so this question applies to both.

Circulate spores? Like mold?

For the virus, ventilation of an area is good, as far as I know. Move old air out, new air in. Disperse any droplets that might be hanging out. Ask your delivery people or workers to wear masks.

Run the fan, open the windows. I'm assuming the fan moves air out of the house? You could also put a couple of box fans in the windows pointed out, to help move the air out of the house.

Yes, the "whole house fan" brings air from outside to inside but we can continue the circulation with fans in the window.  Thanks!
