Size 3 or 4 get the longest use in my house.  I have heard that size 6 is often hard to come by in donation scenarios, but I don't have first hand knowledge.

Size 3 gets the most mileage. Newborn to size 2 gets outgrown fast so neighbors usually donate half used packs to other neighbors.  Some pull-ups if you don’t mind the cost because they are good for bedtime even when potty training.

For a general drive, I'd go with larger sizes. If it's for a particular family, I'd probably go with size 2, simply because my own kids were really small and potty trained early. They wouldn't have used many size 3s at all.

Size 3's are used a long time, but when I've done similar things, the most requested sizes are size 4 and 5.  Diaper drives get tons of donations of the smaller sizes but not many donations of the larger sizes.

I have fat babies that get fat really fast. My last baby transitioned to size 4 at 7 months, and he'll probably stay in size 4 until he potty trains. 😄

I would definitely go for the bigger sizes! At least size 3 and up.

Give cash, tell them to buy whatever size they need the most when the drive is over. Then you don't need to try to predict what everybody else will donate.

My friend that runs the donation center for a local charity said that size 6 is what she needed the most.
