When I submitted DD's midterm transcript to the college she will attend, I listed her expected graduation date as 6/15/20.  Because we have been locked down during the pandemic and she has had time to devote to her schoolwork, she is finishing up early.  For various reasons, I would strongly prefer to submit the final transcript with a 5/15/20 date of graduation (so a month earlier than projected).  Would this be questioned or frowned upon or thought of a sketchy by the college?

I'd do it and not give it a second thought. I doubt they will even notice or care. IF they question the date change, you have a simple, sensible response. No biggie. 👍

Honestly - for those graduating seniors this year, I don't think colleges are going to have the energy to question all that much. lol Things are crazyville everywhere.

Not at all. In fact, I know some brick & mortar schools that have moved their last day of school up.

Plus, I don't think anyone will even notice the change.

One thought-you mention she is taking a DE course in your signature line. Be sure that any DE courses are wrapped up with grades appearing on their transcript before the date you list as her graduation date. That would look odd if your transcript gave a graduation date that preceded the date on the DE transcript. Otherwise I don't think anyone will actually care. Congratulations to the graduate and her teacher!

This is especially important if you are in a state with guaranteed state scholarships such as Florida. Giving a high school graduation date before the end of the college semester disqualifies you from the state scholarships (for Florida residents that would be Bright Futures scholarships). You cannot earn any college credit between the date of high school graduation and the start of the scholarship - usually the following fall semester, though some students do get approved to start in summer.

She's wrapped up her DE courses, so we're good there!  I wouldn't have been able to assign a final transcript grade without those.
