Reefgazer Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 If I want to create a list on FB that I can exclude from seeing certain posts (in other words, make a "friends except...." list), can I do this and still be able to see all their posts? I also would like to create a group that is completely blocked from ever seeing my posts, but I still want to see their posts. How do I do this? Quote
Janeway Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 If you create a group and add people to it, and they are not your "friends" , as in, on your friends list, and your posts are not set to public, they will not be able to see your private posts on your personal page. People who are not on the group page cannot see the posts in there if the group is set to private. If you exclude some people from seeing some of your posts and they are still on your friends list and have not done the same to you, you should be able to see their posts. 1 Quote
regentrude Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 (edited) yes. You can create a list, and when you post, you can set the privacy settings of your post to "Friends except" and use the list as exception. You would still be seeing their posts (unless they have blocked YOU from doing so). You can use separate lists and make one you always use (ie people who should never see your stuff) and one you sometimes use. A "group" is not what you want; it would not serve the purpose you describe. Edited May 6, 2020 by regentrude 1 Quote
