Gymnastics Moms: How is Your Gym Handling Things?

We stopped letting our boys go to practice on March 13. The gym stayed opened a few more days then closed. Last week they finally began offering practices to the boys via Zoom. So far, both my boys have been disappointed in these practices. They have the optional boys practicing with Xcel Gold girls and the compulsory boys (mostly levels 5-6) with Xcel bronze and silver. Since they are being coached by girls coaches, the coaches are greatly underestimating how much conditioning the boys are used to.

I suggest you contact the gym owners and let them know your concern.  If the online practices aren't meeting your ds's needs and the owners/instructors aren't responsive, you can always quit, but I'd give them a chance to correct the problem first.
