saraha
We are planning to take pizza over to my inlaws to spend the evening with them out on their patio. It went really well last time, we gave them their own box of pizza, we had our own, brought our own drinks and took home our own trash, not really coming closer than 6 feet to them. We played charades so had some fun without getting too close. It was fun, but want to do something different this time. Can you help me think of some other way to pass a little time? We can stay a couple of hours since our house is a mile away and we can run home to our own bathroom if need be so we don't go in their house. Thanks!
TheReader
A card game? If they deal their hands from their own deck, and you deal yours from your own deck, that could work.
ktgrok
Pictionary, with two dry erase boards, etc? Trivia? Bingo? Bingo could be great - I think there are even fun novelty versions you can print off? Or those conversation starter decks? Only one person has to touch them to read them, then everyone answers.
ElizabethB
There is an outdoor wood throwing game where you stay apart and only touch your own pieces. I don't remember the name of the game, but basically you put out pieces of wood standing on the ends and throw other pieces of wood at the opposing team's pieces, last team with any pieces standing wins. It's socially distant in normal times! This one is similar, you could use scrap wood and make your own. I would color code the pieces or mark them somehow so people are only touching their own team's pieces when you pick the up to play another round. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLBZOGl1jog Edited May 1, 2020 by ElizabethB
J-rap
I'm thinking about this because we're hoping to do something like this on Mother's Day, but in the meantime, I wanted to say what a great idea Charades is!!

Tina
We played bingo via Zoom with my parents. My sister emailed everyone their bingo cards. We're thinking if everyone has dice, we could do yahtzee next time.
