i'm so annoyed! She just learned to sew the day before making them. She spend three days making masks, for free, even though people offered to pay her. Two packages went out into the mailbox. Both got picked up. One arrived safely, the other the tracking says it never was mailed!!!

I don't have the heart to tell her. I'm going to make some more and send them, if the post office doesn't get back to me ASAP.

That, plus the used refrigerator I managed to score yesterday not actually cooling down is making me displeased with the universe.

Ugh.  That's frustrating!

They might still show up.  I had an etsy order look like it never went anywhere and then it showed up.  I'm guessing it didn't get scanned at the right time.

I'd still send a replacement but hopefully the ones your dd made do make it.

*fingers crossed*

A friend of mine made, and mailed, five to her mom. The envelope arrived.....in tact......with ONE mask inside. ????

I mailed a pack of 4 off to a friend/her husband, both in front line jobs, and haven't heard yet if they got them or not; tracking showed "will be delivered late" last time I checked. I don't know if DH kept the receipt after that or not (they were marked something like "out for delivery, will be delivered late" so DH may have felt that was good enough).

I'm sorry your dd's never made it. 😞

Arg! I just heard from the friend down valley--ours took 6 days to go 65 miles! I could have WALKED faster than that! Our mail goes to Denver now, then Grand Junction and then BACK to our town!

Our mail all goes through a post office in the Chicago suburbs now. Ever since that change happened, so many pieces of mail go missing or show up months late. It stinks.

Ugh.

I ordered a book from a book store in the same town. They took it to another (smaller) city ~2 hours away and then brought it back here to deliver several days later.

Hopefully it will show up soon. I have had packages that never got scanned for tracking show up on time, or just a few days late.  There are lots of odd issues going on with all the parcel deliveries right now, so hopefully it is just a fluke.

I had a package that was shipped USPS on Monday from 2000 miles away. I got a message from USPS that it was "out for delivery" on Tuesday (never came). Wednesday, I tracked it and it said it was back in the original state again. LOL  Then today (Friday) it was delivered at noon.

OP I hope it turns up. I have had packages where they didn't scan it until it was almost to the destination which made it look like nothing was happening or it was lost.

You're making me very grateful for stamps.com and PayPal shipping. The tracking isn't always scanned but at least I have a number to work with. So far, all of my mask packages have arrived. I usually leave them in my mailbox overnight too.
