Terabith Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 I don't have a Proclick, but when I taught at a private school, I had one, and I used it ALL the time. It was awesome! 1 Quote

Just trim up the long end to 11" and cut at the fold. Did you use the file folder as the cover you mean? Quote
regentrude Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 I don't even know what that is. What does that say about me? But hey, I graduated my homeschoolers anyway 🙂 2 2 Quote
CTVKath Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 I love the idea of using file folders to make the covers!!!!!!!!! I'm always trying to find paper 3-prong folder to cut apart and it's hard to find the paper ones nowadays. But I can find plenty of file folders. And cute ones too! Thank you for the inspiration! 1 Quote
LuvToRead Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 Congratulations! Enjoy it!! I use pocket folders as cover. You will need to trim the tops and bottoms, but otherwise they make great covers. Quote
ktgrok Posted April 16, 2020 Author Posted April 16, 2020 Ooh, I bet you could use a pocket 3 prong folder, and just trim the top, not the bottom, so the pocket stays intact. Then you have a pocket inside the cover! I just laminated the first and last pages of the workbook, trimmed and punched, so they look like book covers. 1 Quote
alisoncooks Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 My kids used to draw all the time on plain typing paper (before getting hooked on sketch books). They had stacks and stacks of drawings from years past that they refused to purge  -- so I Proclick-ed them into books to put on their shelves. Such an improvement. 3 Quote
happypamama Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 Congrats! I love my ProClick.   I need someone to make cardboard backs for it. I use a couple of layers of cardstock, but I really could use some sheets of cardboard like spiral notebooks have.  Quote

rjand6more Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 I love my Proclick! One of the few things I use ALL THE TIME. I detest loose papers.  Quote
Wheres Toto Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 So, which one did you get? What is recommended?  Quote
ktgrok Posted April 22, 2020 Author Posted April 22, 2020 20 minutes ago, Where's Toto? said: So, which one did you get? What is recommended?  The standard P50 I think it is called? Can do supposedly 6 sheets at a time, but that depends on paper thickness. If I'm doing 32lb paper, better to stick with 3 or 4 max. It also can punch through laminated cardstock (for making covers) but it's a little hard to push with that. But works fine. Then I got a box of each size spine, for various projects. I just wish the spines came with more colors, preferably an assortment of colors! Quote
