cintinative Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 A friend shared this, and I thought it was interesting. FYI. https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/a-comic-strip-tour-of-the-wild-world-of-pandemic-modeling/?fbclid=IwAR2znKjUQ8N39ClhlJwPehqjzVYhLd60cBInVltxFUvyuJZ-KxPIS9Qo42Y 8 Quote
Lecka Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 That is helpful! I mentioned this on another thread, but from what I have read in the newspaper, Syracuse is using a model made by professors at Syracuse University, and it has some worse estimates than some other models, but it’s also based more on the Imperial College. But I guess they will keep updating the models and adding more information as it becomes available? 1 Quote
