Excelsior! Academy Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 what does that mean for jobs? In some areas you may work in one state and live in another. Quote
Terabith Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 All the ones I've heard of have an exemption for people who live at borders. 2 Quote
JustEm Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 Dh works in a bordering state. He is allowed to go into the other state for work. But they encourage out of state workers who can work home to do so, but dh can not because of company policy. He carries some sort of letter that he gives to officers if he gets pulled over saying he is an essential worker in that state Quote

It only has exemption for essential workers and if your travel is medical related or caring for an at risk family member. So, I can no longer grocery shop in DE even though those grocery stores are closer than the ones in my state of MD 1 1 Quote
math teacher Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 The Louisiana/Texas border allows it for work but I don't know about shopping. Quote
