If you use planner stencils or other smallish stencils, how do you store them?

Because they're planner stencils, we want them easily accessible and easy to look through. Page protectors work, but the stencils are 4x7 or smaller so it's a bit of a pain to remove them. Ideas so far:

  • 5x7 photo pockets - I don't have any currently, but this could be a long term solution
  • Filed in an index card holder - this is how we currently have them, not bad but kind of hidden away
  • I guess I could cut down regular page protectors, but I lack faith in my ability to do it evenly
  • Put them in pocket charts - I have a green one where they would show up great, we would be able to see them all quickly and remove our choice quickly, but it would be in a different room (close by, that we do go in often) - is a great storage solution worth being in another room?

What else? I have truckloads of craft supplies, so a diy option is possible even in lockdown.

I have a pocket folder in back that holds them. The long ones extended a bit past the top of the binder but that only makes it easier for me to grab. LOL Speaking of planners, I need to go get tomorrow's done. Oops, nearly forgot.

The OCD in this household sometimes prevents practical solutions 😁

Our stencils are in a drawer in a small 3-drawer unit, sort of like this one.

And the forgetfulness prevents others, lol. I do love those drawers for other things!
