Good morning! Gray and cooler here today. I am going to try to finish some outside things today before the rain moves in tonight.

  • Help kids with school as needed.
  • Lots of weeding! Plant herbs?
  • Work on Easter baskets.
  • Have kids call my mom.
  • Check in with some AHG leaders and members. Email troop. Check on BOR in Zoom schedule.
  • Read
  • Make challah! Decided to try this since I have time. I need it for french toast casserole for Easter.
  • Dinner is leftovers.
  • Movie or board game tonight?

I was planning to get up early, but ... well, I got up early "for me."  😛

Done:

  • Dragged my sorry butt out of bed.
  • Enough hygiene to be ready for the day.
  • Made my bed & did a little tiny bit of cleaning, reading, and exercise.
  • Coffee 1.
  • Caught up on news, emails, calendar, electronic school stuff, and social media.
  • Sent some work emails.

To do:

  • Wake the kids up & get them started on their school day.
  • More coffee.
  • Lots of client work.
  • Clean the kitchen - I have been doing it little by little.
  • Catch up on the laundry.
  • Pizza day.
  • Watch past online church service(s) with the girls.
  • Make the girls finish their online work, music practice, exercise, housework, and showers.
  • Dispute more credit card charges, change auto pay accounts to my new credit card number, maybe pay some bills.
  • Whatever else gets done.

Good morning!

My morning got off to a fabulous start when I checked Butterscotch's foot and discovered the abscess has finally - after almost a month- started draining out his heel.🎉 Ran back in the house hollering, "We have pus!" (Yes, that's what passes for excitement around here these days.😛) We'll keep soaking the foot today to help it along, and the farrier will stop out tomorrow morning to check the progress.

  • office work - bills & paperwork
  • vacuum & dust main floor
  • tidy up kitchen counters
  • laundry - wash blankets & put away clean towels
  • cut up veggies and roast brussels sprouts & beets (got the hugest beets in our produce box - they are the size of softballs)
  • order orange blossom white tea
  • dinner: leftovers

Good afternoon!

So far today, I've mostly been filming dh. He is doing a series of short lessons for this week and is posting in our Sunday School class Facebook group.

I've been trying to prod ds along with a writing assignment due by midnight tonight.

They just announced in the county south of us (and dh teaches in) that a 15 year old died in her home from what they think is the virus. She evidently had been sick and coughing for two weeks. She lived with her grandmother, who is sick, too.

Stay safe and healthy everyone!

Challah is rising (first rise).
Gardening done for the day. Tiller returned.
Lunch eaten and kitchen tidied.
Milk cooler ready to go for tomorrow morning.
Easter cards mailed.

I really just want to read and take a nap, but I should do electronic chores. Or at least fold laundry.

Mailman just knocked on the door to tell me that there are two local postal workers with COVID19 (but not him). He explained how they want us to decontaminate our mail.

Which is to do what?

Gloves if you have them. Wipe down boxes and envelopes with wipes or dilute bleach solution on a paper towel. Wash hands well after handling the mail. (Some people put mail aside for a couple of days since the virus doesn't last too long on paper surfaces).

Reworked an Amazon order. The Easter bunny will be a bit late this year. Oh well, Easter is going to be pretty low key anyway.

Started checking out an online teaching resource. Yet another Zoom webinar!  Worth it htough, if it adds to my tutoring income and ability.

Got a recipe chain letter/email today. The last time I saw a chain letter was at least 30 years ago and I've never had one work, but why not? I ahve 10 minutes and plenty of simple, tasty recipes.

Scout, a chain letter!😀What a blast from the past! I remember getting those when I was a kid.

Jean, thanks for the advice on disinfecting the mail. I've been letting ours sit in the garage for a day or two.

I was already letting mail sit (but that was due to laziness more than anything).  😉  And I was already washing my hands after handling mail.  But I did break out the precious wipes for dd's package which was delivered with the warning.

Packaged up all the paperwork for our taxes and ds's taxes and got them ready to file (once dh isn't working tonight).

Put the new insurance cards in the cars.

Alerted a neighbor on the mail situation since I think that the mailman was just telling people if he had a package to deliver.  (Could be wrong but I didn't see him stopping at every house.)
