Prepaying services, helping small businesses

Is anyone prepaying for services during the shutdown?  The same person has been cutting my hair for 25 years and I'd like to send her funds to cover several haircuts. I don't even mean to necessarily prepay--would be glad to just help her through this time since it's her only income. How would you handle this since it's more personal than getting a gift card? (My husband and I both are in jobs that aren't going away.)

Maybe you could ask her if she will sell gift cards during this time?

We will buy several gift cards from the local game store during this time to cover the once per week play my son will do when things open up again.
