Pronghorn Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 Now that my child has graduated, I have been tutoring. And now, of course, my tutoring has moved online. People used to hand me checks to pay me, but now I need to get paid electronically. What is the best way to do that? My clients all bank at different places, so I need something flexible and not bank-specific. And I'd rather not pay fees. Quote
Lanny Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 Possibly with PayPal? They have different types of accounts and you may need to get a Business account to protect yourself and your clients. Quote
TheReader Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 See if your bank has Zelle. They can also send you a check via BillPay through their bank (the bank mails you a check). They can mail you checks. You may be able to do Venmo. PayPal. Quote
Night Elf Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 If they're willing to use Venmo, it's super easy and no fees. Quote
Guest Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 I use paypal. I have a business account. Venmo and most of the free services are not supposed to be used for business. Quote
