Paige
I'd like to do a unit on Catcher in the Rye but I'm not sure where to start. Normally we would just read and discuss the book and I'd give some writing assignments, but I'd like a little more hand holding for this one. It's such a short book, but it has a lot to offer, and I'd like some help slowing down with it. Any ideas? I need it to be not too stressful, but something fun to cover during a stressful time that is still meaningful. I've found a few teacher created units that I may be able to adapt, but nothing that is more homeschool friendly.
ScoutTN
Close Reads podcast just finished doing it. I didn't listen because I don't enjoy the book, but their discussions are usually fun and interesting. They do go slowly, as you plan to. Free!
