Hopefully go back to sleep after doing all the measures to not get up again which is difficult.  So far, eye drops in, drank some water.  Water isn't helping my mouth and lops feel better- too harsh on my super dry lips.  Ar least my nausea went away.  SO I am now waiting for second round of medications to make me sleep longer

  • coffee, meds, breakfast
  • stocks
  • call neurologist have them send (fax or electronic means) to Orthopedic Center, Primary CAre, and Rheumatologist
  • call Pulmonologist, asthma issues, need new script for inhaler meds
  • go to coumadin clinic
  • tax work
  • replant 2 more bulb pots
  • read
  • watch things

Coffee and yogurt

Go to dermatology appointment

Go to the commissary and pick up a few things

Daughter is suppose to come over to pick up a couple of things. She’s a little stressed about the possibility of being furloughed. Fortunately, DH and I have the resources to help her, if that happens.

Make dinner

Relax

Good morning!

Dh wanted to go into school this morning to work on some grades and do some stuff in his classroom, but the principal doesn't want anyone in the building.  He's making a grocery store run since he was ready to go out.

  • meals
  • tutor 2 or 3 students (if the third one comes)
  • school with ds
  • find out if ds is working any this week at voter registration
  • cleaning/organizing some spaces this week (what was dd's bedroom, hall closet, bonus room, laundry room)

Everyone in my house is home now and working from home/schooling from home, so we've set up the dining room as an office. DH at one end, working. Me at one end, converting K & 1st school assignments into electronic lessons I can post/email. DS15 will be down here on his phone for video conference classes. DS19 will be down here doing his online driver's ed, finally.

I'm not sure what today will be.

...breakfast
...get DS up for his online class
...go visit my mom???
...lunch? DH likes to have organized, group "everyone eats all together" lunches when he's home
...laundry
...sew
...dinner? Need to check the freezer & pantry and make a list

All week will probably look like this (well, next two weeks at least....)

Good morning!

Jean and TravelingChris, I hope you both feel better.

  • Make sure kids get settled in to schoolwork this morning. Online school for Ds will be short, an intro day.
  • Amazon return
  • AHG things. Emails that need to go out today!
  • Scout things that were on my list last week and are still not done. Got one of them done.
  • Pier 1?
  • Research locksmiths? I lost the key to an antique chest of drawers during the hotel stay and we need to get into it. All my table linens are in there and my silver flatware.
  • Have kids call my mom
  • Walk
  • Dinner is leftovers
  • Watch a show with dd while ds is at Scouts.

Good morning!

  • continue making plans with dh for what will happen if our businesses have to close down (Dh and I can work from home, but our employees must be onsite. If we are forced to have temporary layoffs, my hope is that they can get unemployment pay from the state. We have paid $$$$$$ in unemployment tax over the years, so I hope our employees will be able to access that money if they need it. Our state is in dire financial straits, though, and there will be so many people out of work, so it is all very concerning.)
  • go to bank & get cash
  • order another load of horse bedding and grain
  • water plants
  • vacuum & dust main floor
  • dinner: samosa rolls
  • take a sauna and relax tonight

Well, DH and DS just figured out they can't both have their phone conferences at the same table, LOL! DS's class could all hear DH in the background, so moved him over to the couch in the living room (DS), DH and I are hanging out at the table.

I need to decide if I want to visit my mom or not.

Howdy.  I am still flying around mentally instead of making progress.

Done so far:

  • Woke up at 8:something ... not too bad, except I was intending to wake up much earlier.  Oh well.
  • Coffee 1.
  • A wee little bit of reading.
  • Caught up on emails, news, social media, calendar.
  • A few texts about plans for today & upcoming days.
  • Read some work emails, filed some, marked some for action ....

To do:

  • More coffee!
  • Daily exercise routine.
  • Get some work done!!  Send things to clients so they don't think we're closed.
  • Get kids up so we can get ready to leave.
  • Check out kids' technology capabilities for online school.
  • Kids to school to clean out lockers and pick up homework packets.
  • Kids to meet friend for outdoor play.  (No disease vulnerable folks in either household.)
  • Stop at high school to pick up music packet.
  • Work work work.
  • Pick up kids.
  • Not sure what we'll eat ... I am inclined to support restaurants by buying take-out....
  • Kids and me to park for evening exercise.
  • Kids to practice instruments and work on homework.
  • Housework including cleaning and laundry and whatever else gets done.

Started laundry

Gathered fabric to take to my mom. I am a nervous wreck. I am still not sure how I feel about her (she said some very horrid ugly things in January about my oldest son, and I didn't talk to her again until after my grandpa died this month, and......bah).  It's just lunch. I can manage lunch. I think.

My toilet paper stash... 😩 I now have diarrhea!!

Oh no! Sending virtual tp! (Darn it, no tp emoji...)

I got really mad at my cat Linus the other day. He not only shredded the roll that was in the tp holder, but he knocked an extra roll in the toilet. I was like, “Noooo, we are in a shortage!” He is now banned from all bathrooms.

The new router is working- I love, love our wireless provider- small and jointly provided with the city. We picked a new one up and had it working in an hour.

ds3 is doing school, dd2 is sleeping still.

I paid bills and canceled all the rest of the trips.

We rented a bigger car to go and pick up ds2. Nothing can be stored, everything has to come home. At least the car was cheap.

I am going to work in the garden- wrestle that shrub- get all my anger out on that poor yellow twig dogwood.

The Lone Masker strikes again!  I got all masked up and got fresh produce and the gluten free muesli that dh couldn’t find last night.

And I paid the one bill I had left to pay in person. They had envelopes and a slot to put it in so that we no longer have to go to the counter.

Home from seeing my mom. I will not be doing that again for a while. She has an out of state trip planned (???) if it doesn't get cancelled (she is flying out to NC to help her older sister drive back to TX, so it's a necessary trip, but still....). That will give me time to not have to see her and maybe get around to wanting to again before she asks again. :sigh: I thought I was okay, but....blah.

I need to swap laundry (there wasn't as much up there as I thought, so that is good), possibly nap, and then maybe sew.

I have a few emails to send also.

Finished one work project.  Went to the school.  Dropped off the kids.  Went to the other school.  Cleaned out my car.

Everything took longer than I expected.  Now it's time to go back and drive the kids to the other park.

I need to go find a bunch of their school-related t-shirts as there is a graduation gift they make for each child and the person making them is out of state.  They want it today.  I will have to ask the girls to pick from whatever pile I can find and run it into the school this afternoon.

Work - I meant to do a bunch, but it is already too late for wire transfers, so I will just catch up later.  I hope nobody gets mad.

Poor Juliet has an ear infection and I have betrayed her deeply by tying her up and treating her.  The looks she gives me!  Total betrayal!

Washed, dried and put away dishes, knives and pans.

Wiped down counters, stove and microwave.

Paid 2 bills and did some bookeeping.
Did two loads of laundry, but none is folded.
Went to pharmacy to get Rx refill, but it was one I don't take anymore.
Improved the school shelves. Will do more tonight or tomorrow.

Next up:
Try again to pay a bill, the electronic sytem was not working earlier.
Dinner for ds and dh - grilled cheese.
Fold laundry.
Reorganize my staging area.

Nothing done on my afternoon list.

Did get another load of laundry done, sorted some hand me down clothes for ds to try on, tidied ds' room,  ate dinner, resent an email to a scout leader, vacuumed.

Now watching the Durrells of Corfu.

eta: Decided that the show is not a good fit for my kids.

I was getting nervous leaving work so early (before 5pm ET) to drag kids around.  I felt better after I managed to analyze a problem and send an email while walking in the park.

The kids' remote school work packet feels overwhelming.  It probably isn't that bad, just a lot to take in at once.  (3 weeks of work.)  We also brought home everything from their lockers and desks, which, in addition to what was already in their backpacks, is piled up in our living area.  So, another clean-up / decluttering project to work on.  Yay.

I scheduled both kids for horse riding tomorrow afternoon.

The kids practiced their instruments, and it sounded very nice.

I have so much work I am behind on.  Just can't seem to get the mental energy to focus.

My house is a pigsty.  I think if I clean it up tomorrow, I will feel better.  Should I force the kids to take down the camping cots in the living room?  They are blocking all walking paths through there, and that is probably a big part of what's blocking my mental powers ....
