My kids are grown, and we have finished homeschooling. Recently my college-age daughter requested that we make the recipe for lentils from the Egyptian section of the book. I didn't keep the recipe. Can anyone share it please? Thank you!

If nobody posts, I'm happy to give you a few modern Egyptian lentil recipes such as shorbat 'ads (red lentil soup) and koshari (brown lentils, pasta, chickepeas, tomato sauce).

A few years ago, one of my friends brought me a large pot of koshari as a "let me help you after surgery" meal and it was really, really good.   I might have even let the kids have some. 😉
