If you want to use it for fact practice specifically you can assign that from your parent/teacher account (if you don't create assignments the game follows its own adaptive algorithm to assign problems). The game is free but can get annoying with reminders that members get extra perks. ktgrok Posted March 6, 2020 Author Share Posted March 6, 2020 So she tried free rice and LOVES it!!!! She doesn't even sign in, so there is no tracking scores or anything to make her feel anxious. And they don't take "rice" away for wrong answers, so no pressure at all. Which is perfect. She just kept saying, "I really like this!" over and over as she did it 🙂 She got 200 grains of rice, so 20 correct answers which seems like a good amount of practice for a quick, fun, session. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
sweet2ndchance Posted March 7, 2020 Share Posted March 7, 2020 Mathgames.com has been great for ds who also freezes up when he is aware he is being timed. Some of the games have an obvious timer, some have a soft timer (kids don't necessarily realized they are being timed and the time limit is not emphasized, it just controls how quickly an enemy is defeated, faster they answer, the faster it dies) and a surprising amount of the games have no timer at all, they can sit there all day and it will wait for them.
