I ran out of my veterinarian supplied tooth cleaner

Does coconut oil plus turmeric plus kelp sound okay and safe?  I found a recipe that also calls for parsley, but I don’t have any.

I want it all to be completely safe if eaten.

You mean I don't need to buy those expensive teeth wipes I have been buying?  I can just use coconut oil on a gauze pad and clean their teeth?  It will work and be safe??

Safe for sure. It’s edible by dogs as well as humans.

I’ll report on effectiveness and doggy Breath soon.

So, it was great for brushing—or rather rubbing with a cotton ball—he likes it so he hung around and really wanted more and longer — though would have preferred if I’d just fed it to him instead of putting it on teeth and gums.

Unfortunately, it did not relieve his bad breath possibly coming from having eaten deer scat or something similar earlier today.
