My son asked me what a “myth” was after hearing it on a tv show.  We were able to have a conversation about Maui from Moana and the song where he sings about myths about him.

That's so great!! I think it can be hard to understand what makes a myth different from other stories. And also hard to understand why some religious stories are considered myths and others are considered true religious stories. It can be tricky.

Using Maui as an example was a good idea!
