SKL Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 Many many alarms + decisions to keep snoozing. Kids up on time, but they went back to bed! Corrected math homework etc. Packed gym bags & rushed the kids out the door. Bus was a couple minutes late, yay. Cleaned kitchen, coffee 1. Sent out some work emails. Caught up on news, emails, social media, calendar, electronic school stuff. To do: Quick shower & hair wash. Dentist appointment. Text driver. Sign up for a summer camp. Supposed to deal with the electrician, but he seems to be MIA? Lots and lots of client work. Kid1 has cheer practice. Kid2 has horse riding. Pizza night! Kids' homework, music practice, hopefully some scout work. Whatever else gets done. 7 Quote

TheReader Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 Got all the laundry folded & put away except the final load currently (still) waiting in the dryer. Came up with a vegetarian dinner -- gnocchi, with broccoli, garbanzo beans & sweet mini peppers, in a bechamel/cheese sauce -- I used parmesan, mozzerella, swiss & cheddar. YUM. So glad we learned that tidbit before the movie; the whole family said "Oh, I'd eat this again!" (they are all mostly meat eaters, so.....) YUM! Added up all the miles from the driving.....111 miles; I was on the road from 12:05 to 3:15, with a 20 minute break and a 10 minute break in there. Point A to Point B to Point C back to Point B and back to Point A. This will be my new Tuesday for a while, so the lesson I learned.....take the mornings easy, because I was *tired* having done so much other stuff before hitting the road. Watched the movie with the kids who are not familiar with Mister Rogers really.....it was SO GOOD!! I loved it. He had a quote in the movie -- anything human is mentionable, and anything mentionable, is manageable. That really resonated with everyone, and was a huge encouragement for me in our current everything. 2 Quote
