I am not sure there is a better tasting one, but is there a brand  you prefer?

Hubby’s blood pressure is slightly elevated.  He is a very healthy weight and we go to the gym three times a week, one of those times with a trainer. Our diet is pretty good as I am continuously on a weight loss journey and he eats what I eat.

Therefore Dr is concluded it’s age related and not lifestyle. DH wants to try to lower it by using ACV and not meds,   But is having a hard time with his stomach. He does mix it with Apple juice and grapefruit juice.

any-other “recipes” that are better?

Thanks

I like Braggs.  I would make salad dressing or something with it that is more palatable.

I will say my DH has taken blood pressure meds for a number of years due to genetic high blood pressure and it's been not a big deal for him and has worked well.  He eats well and works out a ton and is slim.

We already use it in dressings, but we don’t eat salad everyday , never mind twice a day as the Dr wants him to.

my hubby has many adverse reactions to meds and in general is very anti meds. Just his personality.

I will  check into the  tea.

Our Dr is very much about using lifestyle and diet changes and natural supplements . He says he has seen Results from folks taking ACV. So we want to try it.

Oh well my husband spent time with more natural solutions too and I think it's good to try because it does make a difference for some people.  I absolutely agree a good doctor would encourage some consistent life style changes before retesting.

But my husband really had to go on meds and he was anxious about doing so and it has been no big deal at all.  Just thought I'd throw that in there.  Good luck!

Thank you for your thoughts. I agree,  BP meds can be no big deal (I ve been on a mild one for years)  but my hubby will likely not ever unless dr insists he is in the verge of a stroke.  Thankfull his  only slightly elevated. I think it has to do with stress, reaching retirement age, but not settled about what he should do. He disagrees ...and so we go on.

I just mix one tablespoon in a smallish cup of ice water and drink it down.  I find the ice water to be key.  When it's very cold, it's not terrible. I use Braggs generally, but I've also used the Costco brand bottles. You should mix it with water before drinking so that the acidity doesn't harm the enamel on your teeth.

I’m super weird because I actually like the taste of apple cider vinegar. I use Braggs brand...I haven't liked any others I’ve tried. I mix it with seltzer over ice. My favorite is orange seltzer with ACV. Yummm!
