Old Schoolhouse Magazine--what flavor is this?

Does anyone get this magazine regularly? What "flavor" is this? Where on the spectrum does it fall?

Asking for a friend who is puzzling through her options as a freelance writer. I'm just not familiar enough with this resource to comment intelligently to her.

It's conservative Christian. And like, back in the day was aligned with the sort of things that are a bit out there for conservative Christians on this board... like they used to run positive reviews of things like the Pearls' books about "discipline" and for curricula that has never been the thing here. I know they've tweaked their format and image... but I think it's still under the same old ownership.
