How did I miss this? RIP Terry Jones

Terry Jones passed away on Tuesday! 😢 Was there a thread and I missed it?  Dh and I are Monty Python fans, but we also loved his documentaries! I suddenly feel like binge-watching Medieval Lives!

I saw it when it first hit the news, but didn't post here.  May he rest in peace.

The ITV interview with Michael Palin is heartbreaking.  It must be so hard to lose your closest friends.

Monty Python was a big deal in our house growing up in the 70/80's. My brother used to imitate and present whole scenes with all the voices. Would have us in stitches for hours.  Watched this yesterday - Terry Jones reading from his book Erik the Viking.

Thanks!  We are also Terry Jones fans and this was first I realized that he’d died. 😢

NPR's "Fresh Air" played a bit of an old interview from the 80s (I think) with him.  Then they played "Every Sperm is Sacred" as the closing music.  I was laughing and crying at the same time.
