Caraway Posted January 18, 2020 Posted January 18, 2020 I saw a couple playing a card game in Starbucks and am hoping that someone can identify what game they were playing. Appeared to be a standard deck of cards, two players. Each player had four (?) cards in front of them, face down, in an upside down T formation. They could (at least periodically) look at their table cards. There was a draw pile between them. On some turns player A would take one of player B's table cards and replace it with one of their cards or vice versa. Any ideas? Quote
desertflower Posted January 18, 2020 Posted January 18, 2020 Sounds like rat-a-tat cat. But when we play the cards are just lined up in a horizontal fashion. But I guess one can play it in a t formation. Just an idea. It may not be what they were playing. Quote
Kareni Posted January 18, 2020 Posted January 18, 2020 Like desertflower, I also thought Rat-A-Tat-Cat; however, we also place our four cards in a line. Regards, Kareni 1 Quote

Kareni Posted January 18, 2020 Posted January 18, 2020 There's another game I stumbled across today that mentions being based on Golf, @kand. It's called Cabo. Regards, Kareni Quote

Regards, Kareni My kids love Rat-a-Tat-Cat. But we place our cards in a line. Was there constricted area on the table? Quote
