PinkTulip Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Just over a year ago, I took a huge leap out of my comfort zone and started working full-time, 55+ hours a week, doing something I haven’t done in 22 years. It was so hard, and so rewarding, and my confidence absolutely grew so much. In December, my company was downsizing, and as last in, I was first out. But my bosses bent over backwards to help me get this new job, in the same field but with a slightly different focus. They have been wonderful and I really love them so much. In my new job, I will be doing things I have never done before, and the learning curve is going to be steep. But my life balance will be so much better, as this is strictly a 35-40 hour a week position. I am feeling nervous tonight, but trying to draw on the confidence I gained in myself over the last year. I can do hard things! I can learn new skills! I can be a valued team-member and contribute to the greater good! I just have to put this out in the universe because I’ve got this! 26 1 Quote
